I realized way after the fact that the video I embedded yesterday was not the video I meant to embed... I don't think that vid deserves an award for much of anything. However, I saw the hand drawn cartoon and thought I'd found the right one. I should have known that there would be millions of similar videos out there.
So, below is the vid I meant to post yesterday... a much better look at the Higgs Boson.
Much clearer!
ReplyDeleteI think!!! With all the videos and explanations, I am beginning to understand what this is all about, but it ain't easy.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear about his Theory of Everything! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhen my kids don't understand things, I send them directly to Khan Academy - thousands of online videos like this but the pictures aren't funny and the guy talks a little slower. (Their teachers show the videos too.)
Now I'm glad I forgot to go back and watch yesterday's. I just hope I don't forget to watch this one.
ReplyDeleteI definitely like that one better. :)
ReplyDeleteHiggs is such an interesting name.
ReplyDeleteGreat video & explanation. I liked the little stick figure raising its arms in joy. lol
ReplyDeleteThat was awesome! I'm going to check out the theory of everything now.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I love Minute Physics videos.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. Thanks, Rusty.
ReplyDeleteThat is one fast talking narrator. But, I'm from the South...Great video.
ReplyDeleteI thought I left a comment on this last week. I guess I didn't. I already knew what the Higgs Boson was, but it was in a general, this-might-be-important-to-the-future-of-humanity kind of way. These videos are so helpful.
ReplyDeletePlus, I've tagged you over on Building Castles on the Beach. Come on over and answer some questions if you want.
