I once thought that I could make song mashups -- I got REALLY excited by the prospect of that and bought a program for them and loaded it into my laptop and 12 hours later had a 10-second snippet of a song that wasn't worth the effort. I still have the program, because I can't bring myself to throw it out.<br /><br />That, though, was not as guilt-inducing/waste of timing as the time I tried to learn bagpipes, which is for another day.<br /><br />My point: the road to self-improvement is littered with the soda cans of attempts, so litter away, and leave the trash behind.
