C is for Cragons!

A-Z Blogging Challenge day three... I chose Cragons... very similar to dragons, except mostly spelled differently.

Remember, caption the sketch, preferably with a noun starting with 'C' in there somewhere.

The hairy warrior began to suspect that the dangerous Cragon that had been following him for the past fortnight intended on mating with his masthead.
In case anyone is wondering, the black speck above the Cragon's head is spaghetti sauce. Technically, this is food art. That's all I've got for now. See you tomorrow.

Oh, one more thing. Drawing water is hard. I don't want to do it anymore.

  1. Looks like some really cool cave art. Drawn during dinnertime, of course.
Crap, men! We need more spaghetti sauce!

  2. "Stay away from me creep," said the sailor.

  3. Crikey, maybe we can have a meal of Cragon meat.

  4. My first thought is to rip off Bugs Bunny: "I knew I should've taken that left at Albuquerque." I know I can do better than that, but your drawing, apparently just doodled during dinner, is incredible, and is making me feel bad about my own nascent efforts at learning to draw.

Last week, I drew R2-D2. It wasn't good.

Cragons, though: those are cool. Like a Kraken crossed with a Dragon. See what you've accomplished in this post?

    1. Made me feel bad about myself.
(probably not your goal but you got there anyway)
    2. Made a cool drawing.
    3. Invented a new monster.
    4. Worked in mixed media.

All in all, not a bad start to a Thursday (a/k/a Friday Eve.)

  5. Cnut was confident the creature of catastrophic capacity could completely consume their craft with scant consideration. :)

  6. "Crack on fellas, there's cragons afoot."

I like Tony's the best. One should ALWAYS ask what Nicholas Cage would do.

  7. "They do not get eaten by the cragon at this time. You seemed a little scared. 'No, it's more like concerned."
To rip off The Princess Bride...
But I like the Nicholas Cage one the best.
So when do we find out who wins each day? I'm highly competitive!

  8. I can't believe I am not already familiar with this creature. Thanks for adding another monster to my memory bank. :)

  9. It's me or that Cragon! Bring me my spear gun, and the laser, too!

The water looks fine to me, but water can be difficult.

  10. Food art! My absolutely favourite kind! (That was kinda hilarious, actually.)

  11. Man, my next cover was going to be on water.
    >throws that story in the trash<

    "Man the catapults!"
"What do you mean we didn't bring the catapults?!"

  12. Carve me some Thanksgiving cragon, lads. Dark meat. The cabin boy ate the last turkey yesterday.

  13. Oh that crazy Cragon, calling coo-coo love calls to the curs on the crackling, creaky cradle of a ship.

Oh well, that's enough of my ranting. Have fun A to Z-ing. See ya 'round the web. All Things Kevyn

  14. "Cragon!" he snorted. "I'm not a Cragon. I'm a CRAKEN."

  15. "Hey Cragon, you're stalking a ship."

Hush about the hardships of drawing water. May you get better or get away to do something else.

  16. Nice drawing. I think you did fine with the water. And again, no caption. ::sigh::
