After the previous couple of days I wanted to do something not human. I was going to do a car, but decided that I really wasn't that interested in doing all those straight lines and perfect circles (or ovals, whatever).
So, instead I did a fish... a carp to be exact. Except I don't really know what they look like. I checked out Google - turns out they look just like regular fish. So, whatever. Here's a fish... I mean, here's a carp.

I live in muddy water. |
I love seeing your daily drawings.Since I would only be able to draw a stick fish (lol), I am always impressed.
ReplyDeleteNow there's a face to wake up to. I love that fish. :)
ReplyDeleteI like your carp!
ReplyDeleteOne time a group of us were playing a computer game at work (yes, playing games on company time!) and when one of my co-workers was shot, instead of typing Crap! Crap! Crap! he typed Carp! Carp! Carp! We've never let him live it down...
You should look up one of those Asian carps. They're damned ugly and destroying the Great Lakes ecology.
ReplyDeleteheeheehee!
ReplyDeletelove it!
the biggest fish i ever caught was a carp.
i was nine and he was 30 inches long. at least my g-pa said it was a carp...
I'm sensitive too, and that's one lovely carp, for a mud-dweller. ;)
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you, and see you around the challenge!

I love the carp's expression.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Especially the caption. Maybe for F day my daughter will let me post her nightmare fish picture (inspired by a nightmare) - it's kind of awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove the carp's attitude. :)
ReplyDeleteBut can it cut down a tree?
ReplyDeleteGreat job...I believe the goldfish and Koi may be related to the carp. I would have to look it up but not going to. I shall leave that to others.
ReplyDeleteThere were carp in Lake Erie and the Niagara River once upon a time. It was like a cuss word to my Grandpa. I like your carp.
ReplyDeleteGreat drawing and I like the fish's expression.
ReplyDeleteExcellent rendering of a carp. Carps are rugged fish, and awfully bony.
ReplyDeleteI like him, he doesn't look like he would eat me.
ReplyDeleteMy son will love this. Of course, I thought of Nemo. Okay, I promise not to think of kids shows on the next one.
ReplyDeleteNice picture of a carp.
