The Great 2014 Push-Up Competition!
*LATEST UPDATE 2/4/14* Andrew has pulled out to a commanding lead and will probably hit the halfway point pretty soon. I wonder if I can get to a 500 before he gets to 1000. At this point, that would feel like a victory.
Also, Briane Pagel has (temporarily surpassed my total too, so I'm comfortably in 3rd place. I hope I don't need to remind folks of the video below. It is my philosophy in life.
And finally, I am going to try to do some push-ups today. Assuming my mangled arm is usable. Wish me luck in getting super awesomely strong.

I actually watched the video. I was NOT disappointed.
But how do we know you had the gravity turend on?
He has high tech tools! Push up tools! No way!
And you're going to be updating the charts?
@Briane - gravity was set to 90%. That's the only way I could do that many.
@Andrew - I intend on updating. And FYI - those push-up bars are a necessity for me. My wrists hurt furiously if I don't use them. But - they make push-ups way harder. At least for me. Makes it more of a shoulder exercise. It's weird.
Now I want to see what it's like to use something like that.
And, btw, my total is currently at 81. That will change tomorrow.
Do push-ups count if you use a forklift?
Well, I don't care what you say; those things look pretty cool. I want to try some!
Your chart doesn't show the actual totals.
@PT - is the forklift on your back? Because you get double credit for those.
@Andrew - if you hover of the bars with your mouse, you should get a pop up that shows you the current totals. The 0 is just your starting number.
Your doctor actually asked you if you had been a pro athlete?
That would be AWESOME. The only question my docs ever ask me goes something like "Check again, Mr. Pagel, are you sure you're still alive?"
Sometimes, I'm not sure if I'm still alive.
It's more a matter of being "on" or "off."
