Cute Doggies!

I have been meaning to have a post ready to go on Mondays for a while now... until this week I couldn't seem to get one ready before Wednesday. I'm all over it now though.

A little while back we got a puppy. That means we have three dogs now. THREE DOGS!
Count them... it's THREE!
So, the young one (in the middle) is pretty smart. He's doing things at 9 weeks that the oldest dog (on top) took 6 months to figure out and that the little one (on bottom) still hasn't figure out.

However, it is still a puppy, and as such, has to be put in its place, like when the eldest decides that the puppy has no right to mess with me. I managed to video just such an encounter below. Tell me that isn't awesome and I'll call you a liar.

Thank you Lucy, way to keep me safe from a little puppy... wish I had her around when I was in middle school.

Adorable pup! Yeah, Lucy put him in his place.
Got your email about the synopsis this morning. When my brain finally engages, I'll read it. Thanks!

Love, love, love this post. I do love dogs. And puppies make me melt.

Your label is hilarious.

That picture is hilarious with them all lined up like that.

Puppies are cute, especially bulldog puppies.

Oh Andrew will love this post. He's always posting dog pictures and talking about his dog or name dropping his dog in posts that have nothing to do with dogs.

I do love this post! And that puppy is the cutest thing!
Darn! Now I want a puppy!
NO! I have a dog and a cat, and we don't have room for more!

Bah!

Is that a cape the other dog is wearing?

I'd love a puppy but now we live in an apartment, not fair to a dog.

I think the puppy is going to be smart. He knew when to stop.

I love the way they lined up when sleeping -- by size and all in the same direction.

THREE puppies? Oh wow. At most, I had 2. Lucy is one tough doggie!

@Alex - Lucy is the best dog ever... she's really adopted the new puppy as her own.

@Brinda - I get mored making labels sometimes. I think it's funny when anyone notices them.

@Tonja - I couldn't resist the picture either. The littlest one tends to not lay like that, but he did it just for me.

@PT - They are, no doubt.

@MIchael - Yes, he's a man who loves his animals.

@Andrew - It isn't a cape, but it's more like a doggy jacket. Gus tends to get cold so the missus dresses him with the weather demands it.

@Nicole - :)

@Jo - I know, my wife tried to raise a puppy when she lived in an apartment and it was just too hard on him. She ended up giving him away in a tearful exchange I hope to never see again.

@Cindy - He is brilliant, he rings his bell whenever he wants out. He sits, rolls over, all that sort of stuff... he's only 10 weeks old!

@MPax - it is awesome.

@Jay - Three is a tough number. Not something to do without considering the sacrifices you have to make.
